I recently was approached by the local committee for starting a new Harvest festival - they needed a logo. When I said yes, the lady explained what they were after:
"We want a circle shape with 2 hills, one with ploughed feilds, one with rows of trees, and a sunset in between, and a blue sky with clouds and then a wave below, with fish swimming in it, preferably with smiling faces, and that is to be sitting inside an oyster shell, which is to be on it's side, as if it's the pearl from the oyster". When I asked about the actual wording "oh no - we'll just use the logo without any words". Well that's going to work great on a banner when you're whizzing past at 100km/hr. Not to mention the name they came up with for the festival: "Sapphire Coast Oyster & Harvest Festival"

Marketing nightmare

After an initial go of trying to get it together, I turned them down.

Dirk comments on A moving target

Very Fresh.
